The Pioneer Football League (PFL) was established in July of 2000 to give home-schooled and private-schooled boys, ages 12 - 18 the opportunity to play regulation football.

The league is founded upon Christian Principles.  It is intended to bring glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage personal responsibilities for one's actions.  Initially, the league will play 8-man football with the understanding that the goal is to play 11-man football when enrollment allows.

The Pioneer Football League (PFL) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation.  Its purpose is to provide the opportunity for home-schooled and private-schooled students to play the "Great American Sport" of football.  These student athletes would normally not have the chance to play football through the public school system or their private school does not offer football as a choice of athletics.

Key components to the league are: CODES OF CONDUCT for Participants, Parents and Coaches.  These agreements must be signed in conjunction with registration.  (See Codes of Conduct page).

Zero tolerance will be observed for the following conduct:

                        Profanity

                        Drug, Alcohol or tobacco use

                        Unsportsmanlike conduct

The first concern of the coaches and the league officials is the physical, mental and spiritual well being of each of the student athletes.  The objective is to teach sportsmanship and develop athletic skills in a safe environment. All coaches will attend available training and certification clinics offered through the league.
